Flights to Kuching
One of the most charming, beautiful and intriguing cities in Malaysia, Kuching is nestled on the sun-drenched island of Borneo. In the local language Kuching means "cat". Established in 1827 as Sarawak's third capital city, it was ruled by the Sultanate of Brunei for 200 years and only became a British province when James Brooke began his reign. Sarawak was given to John Brooke as an independent kingdom - his reward for helping the Sultanate of Brunei in their struggle against piracy and insurgency.
