Day 1 - During the day
What better way to start the day in Spain than with tapas? A lovely little place to enjoy tapas is Tapa Cena, a restaurant very popular among locals. For only 60 cents, you can get a glass of beer, and tapas are only 90 cents. The restaurant has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. A perfect start to the day.

Day 1 - Night
Do you like good food? Then you've come to the right place in Alicante. Besides tapas, you can try even more delicious dishes here. Like paella with mussels and prawns or delicious esgarrat. You can try these dishes at Nou Manolin. One word: enjoy!

The next day...

Time for your second day in this bustling city! And today you'll start the day in style at Meliá Alicante. In this upmarket restaurant, a buffet breakfast is served from 7:30 am. The price may be much higher than a breakfast with tapas, but you receive an extensive choice of high-quality dishes. The restaurant also overlooks the waters of the Iberian Sea. Here you can watch the city come to life while enjoying a delicious buffet.

Day 2 - During the day
After a well-earned breakfast, take the bus to Benidorm. This city is situated approximately 25 miles from Alicante and is often regarded as its little brother. A day trip to the city is a nice addition to a weekend trip to Alicante, because Benidorm has much to offer.

Day 2 - Night
You've seen a lot of Alicante and its surroundings! Tired of all the impressions? We're going to have a quiet evening on the beautiful beach of Alicante. Have a bite at the Ciao Miami restaurant, within walking distance of the beach. Stroll down to Playa del Postiguet. This is the beach in Alicante that's closest to the city.
