Day 1 - During the day

Day 1 - Night
You can enjoy a delicious meal at the Akershus fortress. The dishes at Festningen Restaurant are all from different regions of Norway. Like haddock from Kristiansand or Norwegian villkveite. Many traditional dishes from Norway contain fish with salads.

The next day...

Time for your second day in this bustling city! Sleep in and start the day with brunch. This is a popular custom in Oslo. You can have brunch in every price range, like in the restaurant Le Cosy. After your meal, you can enjoy a lovely cup of coffee, and then you'll be ready for your second day in Oslo!

Day 2 - During the day
After a well-earned brunch, take the metro to the Grünerløkka district. This trendy district shows the intimate side of Oslo. The streets consist of colourful Scandinavian-style houses and the district has many parks. It's also perfect for shopping, and very cosy.

Day 2 - Night
After a busy day, it's always nice to relax with a good meal. Visit the luxurious restaurant Klosteret, not far from Grünerløkka. It's located in a basement with stone walls and candlelight. There's almost no electric lighting. This creates a very special atmosphere. The food is also of excellent quality. This romantic restaurant is a must!
