Flights to Salzburg
Lovers of all music, whether that be classical or misicals, should head to Salzburg as soon as possible. The birthplace of Mozart and the backdrop for The Sound of Music, Salzburg has retained its tranquil air and does not look that much different from when Wolfgang Amadeus lived there from 1756.
The Old Town is pedestrianised and quite small, making it easy to see the sights on foot. It is also a World Heritage Site, with an impressive cathedral, Roman ruins, and abbey catacombs to visit.
