Address, Parking & Ground Transportation
The airport is around 5 miles east of the City of London and 8 miles east of Westminster.
The address of the airport is:
By car to or from London City Airport (LCY)
Because of this extremely central location, getting to the airport by car from London itself isn't really necessary. However, there is on-site parking for those coming from further afield. The long stay car parks are all secured by CCTV and are just 10 minutes walk from the terminal. Pre-booking is recommended and can deliver savings of 75% or more.
You can also reach the airport via the Docklands Light Railway (which has quick links to Stratford International Station). Canning Town tube station is also very close to the airport and provides easy access from central London via the Jubilee Line. You can also reach the airport via the 473 and 474 bus routes, which are easily the cheapest but most time-consuming options. If you are travelling from the north of England, the best route to London City is probably to take the train to Kings Cross St. Pancras and then another train to Stratford, before catching the DLR to London City. Alternatively, licensed minicabs are always available.
