Who is eligible?

• Layover in Istanbul lasting 6 to 24 hours
• Your layover must be part of a single international ticket

How to register?

• Sign up at the Touristanbul desk at Istanbul Airport
• Be present at least 30 minutes before the tour starts

2. Stopover Programme – Free Hotel Stay(s)

Turn your layover into a mini holiday! Turkish Airlines offers you a complimentary night in a comfortable hotel, so you can continue your journey well-rested and refreshed. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore Istanbul at your own pace – or simply unwind.

Wander through centuries-old palaces and mosques, sample local delicacies at colourful markets, and enjoy breakfast with a view over the Bosphorus. Stroll through charming neighbourhoods, shop in elegant boutiques, or relax in a traditional hammam. Whatever your travel style, Istanbul is full of surprises.

What is offered?

• Economy-Class: one free night’s stay in a 4-star hotel.
• Business-Class: two free nights’ stay in a 5-star hotel.

Terms and Conditions

• To be eligible for the free tour (Touristanbul), the layover at Istanbul Airport must be no shorter than 6 hours and no longer than 24 hours.
• To use the Stopover service, there must be at least 20 hours between the two flights.
• Passengers travelling to or from international destinations with a layover at Istanbul Airport (IST) can use the Stopover service on both outbound and return flights.
• To be eligible for the free hotel stay in Istanbul, the layover must not exceed 7 days.
• The outbound and return flights must be booked under the same reservation. Separate tickets for outbound and return flights are not accepted.

Accommodation Conditions and Duration

• Economy Class passengers can stay one night free of charge in a 4-star hotel.
• Business Class passengers can stay two nights free of charge in a 5-star or boutique hotel.
