Checking In

Online check-in on the Ryanair website or via the app is mandatory. When booking a seat, you can check in from 60 days to 2 hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight. If you do not reserve a seat, online check-in is possible from 48 hours to 2 hours prior to departure.

After checking in, you have to print your boarding pass yourself! If you do not check in online and do NOT print your boarding pass, Ryanair will charge extra. So pay attention! However, if you have a ticket with a Plus or Flexi Plus rate, you can check in at the airport free of charge.

If you want to choose your seat, book priority boarding with your flight tickets. Then, you are the first to choose your seat and can possibly sit together with your traveling companions. More information can be found on Checking in.

Flying when pregnant

Expectant mothers can fly up to 28 weeks of pregnancy. After the 28th week, pregnant women must have a Fit to Fly statement, completed by their midwife or doctor. After 36 weeks of pregnancy you are no longer allowed to fly with Ryanair, for your health and that of your baby. It is also possible that you are no longer allowed to fly after 32 weeks of pregnancy. This rule applies if you are pregnant with twins, triplets, etc. or if you have previously developed complications during pregnancy.

Special Assistance

Do you need assistance at the airport? Do you need a wheelchair or an attendant? Maybe you prefer to register your own wheelchair, assistance dog or medical equipment? It is important to request this at least 48 hours before departure. This can be done in your own booking on the Ryanair website or by contacting the special assistance team via email, chat or telephone. Upon arrival at the airport, please report to the luggage drop-off desk or the special assistance desk.
