Founded in 2003, Etihad Airways has established itself as one of the fastest growing airlines in aviation history. With a fleet of more than 100 Boeing and Airbus aircraft, this international airline now operates in excess of a 1,000 flights per week, to more than 100 destinations worldwide. In 2004, the company acquired more than 20 Airbuses and five Boeing 777's, and in 2008 purchased what was announced as the largest aircraft order in aviation history, of more than 200 aircraft. In just over a decade, the airline has firmly established itself as the United Arab Emirate's second largest airline.

Etihad Airways travel classes

Check-in
Checking in with Etihad Airways could not be easier. For convenience and to avoid queues, use the online check-in service. Or if you prefer, check-in with one of our friendly advisors at the airport. Regardless of your baggage arrangements, you can check in online 24 hours before departure, and as close as 45 minutes before your plane departs.
Baggage
A very, generous baggage allowance is offered for each fare category:
- Up to 23 kg for economy class
- Two bags, up to 23 kg for business class
- Two bags, up to 32 kg for first class travellers
