Bellview Airlines: Bulgaria's Leading Airlines
Founded in 1992, Bellview Airlines began life as Bellview Travels Limited, originally offering charter flights for executive travel. By the following year, the company had branched out into commercial passenger services, expanding its flight roster to include destinations across Africa and key international destinations.
Bellview Airlines quickly established itself as a leader in the local market, offering passengers a variety of reliable services to popular destinations across Africa, with flights to other countries on the continent including Cameroon, Gabon, Ghana, Liberia and South Africa. The airline also offered regular services to London Heathrow Airport, making it an essential hub for international travel for Nigerian natives. Over the years, the airline continued to boost its fleet with new aircraft, further increasing its flight network and capacity for commercial aviation.
In 2007, the aviation industry of Nigeria experienced turbulence when the government announced that all national airlines needed to re-capitalise in order to continue operations. Bellview Airlines satisfied the strict criteria in service and safety quality levels and was re-registered although it temporarily suspended operations in 2009 when its London Heathrow service was put on hold. However, this popular airline wouldn't stay grounded for long; in 2014, it was announced that Bellview Airlines was to take to the skies yet again after a lucrative venture with British Airways was announced. With an increased fleet bolstered by leased planes from Iberia Airlines and an expanded flight network including destinations in Asia, the future looks bright for this mainstay of the African aviation industry.
Flying with Bellview Airlines
Like most airlines, Bellview Airlines offers a typical pricing structure although its smaller range of services means there's not such a dynamic range in pricing. That being said, booking as early as possible will undoubtedly yield the biggest savings on ticket tariffs. The typical comforts of economy travel can be expected on its medium and long-haul flights, but those who prefer the more luxurious perks of airline travel can enjoy the benefits of their frequent-flyer program called the Premium Club. Benefits for Premium Club members include access to the best on-board seats and services but also provides access for passengers into some of the best airport lounges around.
Practical Information
Check-in: For passengers looking to save time, online check-in saves them having to go to the check-in desks, with convenient bag drop-off services ensuring less hassle before they board. Online check-in services usually open 24 hours before the scheduled departure time of flights and are available for access up to two hours before flights are scheduled to depart. Passengers looking to travel on long-haul and international services are advised to arrive at the airport with plenty of time to spare, especially if they have luggage to check.
Special Requests: If you have special dietary requirements or medical needs, make sure you announce this with plenty of time to spare. When booking flights, ensure you make a note of any dietary needs to avoid disappointment on-board when being serviced an in-flight meal. If you require assistance at the airport, you can also make a note of this ahead of time to make your arrival at the airport, check-in and flight boarding as convenient and comfortable as possible.
